Farmers and makers leave things like fresh eggs, homemade preserves or wildflowers by the roadside, trusting travellers to leave the right amount of money in a simple tin. It’s a small act of trust and a reminder of the Scottish values of community, respect and goodwill.
Talamh Arts is bringing a bit of that spirit to the city of Glasgow. The Honesty Box at Park Lane lets visitors take home art prints on trust alone. It’s a small experiment in connection and community within a busy urban environment.
